| Roulette was said to be invented by the French in the early 1700’s and made its way to America in the 1800’s. In the early history of the game, it was noted that the game of Roulette was played with numbers ranging 1-28, and later was extended to 1-36 plus adding the number 0 to the playing field by Frenchmen Francois and Louis Blanc. Legend says François Blanc supposedly bargained with the devil to obtain the secrets of roulette. The legend is based on the fact that the sum of all the numbers on the roulette wheel (from 1 to 36) is 666, which is the mark of the beast. Over the years, Roulette has become one of the most popular tables games in the business.
